My New Makeup Obsession: True Color Lip Crayons

Afternoon, beauts — Before today I had only heard of lip crayons… I never tried them out. I had a few customers order some lately and so I had asked: “What’s the buzz on these lip crayons?” What I found out was that these True Color Lip Crayons are: Easy to use, Have a convenient/simplistic packaging for outings/trips, Well-pigmented color (12 shades to choose from), and Available in two finishes for different looks (Shimmer and Cream). I like that even though these liners have the sparkle shimmer infused, they do not irritate my eyes. Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation + Blush Makeup Review

Hey there, beauts! I’ve known for quite some time that I adore the Avon Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation. It blends well, it’s fragrance free and it’s great for my sensitive skin. The Smooth Minerals line from Avon contains pure mineral pigments and the foundation provides build-able coverage with a natural, luminous finish. The regular cost of the Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation is $12, and I find that to be a steal. It often goes on sale which sweetens the pot even more! There are 12 shades to choose from, including a Transparent Glow and Bronze. I’ve found that my perfect shade is Light Beige. I have been incredibly happy with this product —so happy  that I came across it and gave it a try!

Prior to using this as my go-to foundation, I had never realized how fragrant my previous face makeup was. I really enjoy not having any scent while applying and my face seems to enjoy it as well — i’ve experienced far less breakouts since using it and I can tell that my overall skintone looks more radiant, even when the makeup is off! If you have tried other Mineral Makeup lines and love them, you are sure to love these products as well (And at a fraction of the cost). Why are you paying more money for products when you can get quality makeup from my Avon eStore? Upon receiving my order (I also ordered the Avon Pro Blush Brush), my first impression of the shade as I removed it from the box was: “Oh, that’s intense.” Honestly, I was worried that I would not like it because it appeared very bright.  I lightly dipped the Blush Brush in and tapped off any excess. I discovered if you desire a softer glow, just apply lightly. If you would like a more dramatic effect, go heavier. It’s that simple! The Blushing Mauve shade is a gorgeous pink with slight hint of purple. It was a fine choice for my fair skin. I’m looking forward to trying out the other shades as well but I know that this one is a keeper!

My Avon Beauty Favorites | Post 4

Hey, beauts — Happy March! Spring is truly around the corner and I cannot wait. Sure, the snow is pretty to look at but so are bright colored flowers and sunshine! I’m going to start first with the lipstick. The all-new Perfectly Matte Lipstick in shade Ideal Lilac is a perfect shade for Spring. It’s bright and the matte finish is a current beauty trend. This lipstick, while being a matte finish, is not drying to the lips. It never cakes nor cracks and has an incredible lightweight feel. My Avon Beauty Favorites | Post 1

Hey, loves! I’ve decided to take on a new set of posts with each one featuring a few products from Avon that i’m currently obsessing over. Over the next week or so, i’ll put up a new post and share all of the reasons that I love each product. I’ll also be listing current prices and special offers where applicable. The Vampy Makeup Trend | Pictures + Product Reviews

Hey there, beauties! Starting off the day with a fresh post and a trendy makeup look: Vampy. I have so much fun playing with my makeup and this was no different. It was a blast taking prepping for this posting. I've been craving to go a bit bold and try a berry lip so I went through my lippy sample bullets and found a beautiful one: Ultra Color Absolute Lipstick in Radiant Raisin ($9). I love this lipstick line from AVON because it has SPF 15 in the formula, which is great for keeping lips healthy and smooth. 

Once I found that, I began setting up my space. I started with my Magix Face Perfector ($11) to get my skin prepped/primed. I added my Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation ($12) using myAVON Kabuki Brush ($6.99). After having the canvas set, I used the AVON Lash Conditioner + Primer ($8 reg.) which i've recently become a huge fan of! 

While I was trying to choose which mascara to use (I have a few different ones on hand!) I decided that I did not want to go for such a bold lash since I was about to don a bold lip. I kept it simple and chose the AVON Wash-Off Waterproof Mascara ($8). which is a fabulous yet basic mascara.

One of my favorite eyeshadow palettes is the True Color Eyeshadow Quad ($8 reg.) I have a few of these in different shades, but the one I chose to wear today was the Chocolate Sensation quad. The soft, shimmering beige brings out my eyes when added to the inner corners, and I love the milk chocolate and truffle shades for the crease Those all have a slight shimmer/sparkle to them but number 4 on the quad, Black Brown is a matte. I've noticed that most of the TC Eyeshadow Quads come this way: Numbers 1 thru 3 - shimmery and number 4 - matte. I use the AVON Pro Eyeshadow Brush ($5.99) and AVON Pro Crease Brush ($5.99). As for the sponge applicator that came with the eyeshadow, I use that to help remove nail enamel. It works great to reaching those inner nail creases.

 I also used my favorite eyeliner, the Ultra Luxury Eye Liner in Dark Brown on the bottom and then used the Ultra Luxury Eye Liner in Eggplant up on the top to get that pop of purple going on my eyes. I love these liners because they are easy to sharpen, the product does not break off or get too soft, and when applied lasts for hours! Another plus? These liners are only $5 each!

My Reviews on the Moroccan Argan Oil Haircare Line from Avon

I've never been the type of girl to splurge on hair care products. I always got a bottle of the cheapest shampoo and conditioner and figured it was doing its job. Never did I think that there could actually be more beneficial products out there nor had I noticed how damaged my hair truly was. 

When I become an AVON Representative at the start of this year, I slowly began switching all my beauty products over to AVON -- trying new things and realizing that I could save even more money with my discount! Some of my first switches were what I would call AVON stigma based, the makeup. I tried a few different foundations before finally finding my match with the Magix Face Perfector and the Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation. I got myself new body washes that I loved and that worked for me and then I took notice of the Advance Techniques Hair Care Products. I was quite intrigued as to finding out if these products would fix my severely dried-out hair and split ends. Could I find a more conditioning conditioner? 

AVON has a few different products to their hair care line up. I went through each one and learned what their purpose was (other than to clean hair, of course!) and which one I thought could benefit me the most. The first one that caught my eye was the 360 Nourish Moroccan Argan Oil line. I'll be honest, I judged the product before I even read a description on it. I was drawn to it for the name and had a feeling that it would bring much health to my hair. When I began to read up on the products, I was so excited to give it a whirl.
