Wet brush head and dispense cleanser onto hands and massage gently over face. Gently move Cleansing Brush over face in a circular motion for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse face and remove/rinse brush head. Illuminating Rich Cleansing Foam — Normal/Combination Skin (Shiny in T-zone, dry everywhere else). Balances skin by eliminating oils without stripping moisture. Use AM/PM. Lather over wet face, massage, then rinse. (Reg. $10)

Q: Why shouldn’t I wash my face with bar soap?
A: Bar soaps can have a drying effect and can strip away the natural oils that skin needs. Unlike most bar soaps, our gentle cleansers are formulated to deal with specific skin types and needs.

Q: How do I determine my skin type?
A: — If you have large pores all over your face (pore size is also an indication of oil production), notice skin getting shiny throughout the day or if oil visibly appears on a tissue when blotting, you are considered to have an Oily/Combination Skin Type.
— If your pores are larger primarily in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) and visible oil appears only in those areas throughout the day, you are considered to have a Normal/Combination Skin Type.
— If your skin almost always feels tight and looks rough, you are considered to have a Dry Skin Type.

My Avon Beauty Favorites | Post 4

Hey, beauts — Happy March! Spring is truly around the corner and I cannot wait. Sure, the snow is pretty to look at but so are bright colored flowers and sunshine! In my first blog post of March, i’ll be continuing my series on My Avon Beauty Faves Roundup, with Post Four. I hope you all enjoy it! I’m going to start first with the lipstick. The all-new Perfectly Matte Lipstick in shade Ideal Lilac is a perfect shade for Spring. It’s bright and the matte finish is a current beauty trend. This lipstick, while being a matte finish, is not drying to the lips. It never cakes nor cracks and has an incredible lightweight feel. Avon Dazzlers Top Coat has been around for a while but I just recently got around to trying it out. There are 5 shades included in this line of nailwear, pictured above is Disco Ball. You can wear this top coat alone or over top of polish. Dazzlers are a fun way to dress up your mani! My Avon Beauty Favorites | Post 1

Hey, loves! I’ve decided to take on a new set of posts with each one featuring a few products from Avon that i’m currently obsessing over. Over the next week or so, i’ll put up a new post and share all of the reasons that I love each product. I’ll also be listing current prices and special offers where applicable. I’m not certain on how many parts to this new line of postings there will be, but let’s start off with Post One and go from there!

Let’s begin with the first product that kicks off my morning beauty routine, Anew Vitale Gel Cleanser. This product is a must-have for me, I don’t think i’ll ever stop obsessing! The formula is a lightweight gel that is easy to apply and a little bit goes a long way. (Only dab a pea size amount onto your fingertip. Using too much product could cause your skin to dry out and no one wants that!) The Anew Vitale Gel Cleanser smells amazing — such a fresh and clean scent that wakes me up in the morning yet calms and soothes me as I use it at nighttime. Next up on my Avon Beauty Faves Roundup List is the Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask. Oh my goodness… it really works! I use this product twice per week. What I love about this mineral mask is that not only does it work to remove pore-clogging oils in the skin but it doubles as an acne treatment. When applying, you’ll feel a cooling sensation and it goes on black. As it dries (and does its job!) it turns grey. So, there is no guess work — you can see and feel this product working. I also notice a tightness to my face as it dries but it brings no discomfort really. My skin is quite sensitive and I have yet to have an issue with this product irritating my skin. I usually leave this product on for around 12-15 minutes. My kids get a real big kick out of me when I have this mineral mask on, they find it hilarious! I just find it to be another tool to my beauty and skincare routine. The next product that has my heart is a Top Rated Avon Customer Favorite and it’s really no wonder why! The Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion is what I like to call Magic in a Bottle. This stuff is truly amazing. Squeeze out a dab onto your fingertip, gently rub it on and around your eyes, wipe away with a damp cloth, and voila — all clean! I love the consistency of this product, it is not too thin nor too thick. It really does moisturize my skin with no eye irritation. When I first used this product, I used more at one time than I needed to and it was a “gloppy mess”. The product had really gotten into my eye but easily rinsed out with water. My last favorite Avon product that i’ll be featuring in today’s blog post, is the Clearskin Blemish Clearing Overnight Treatment. This product came out around August of last year and i’ve been using it since its debut! You can use this product as a spot treatment, but I just use it all-over as a mask. The product is great because it works fast, does not burn or sting, goes on smoothly, and has a pleasant menthol/cooling scent. A small amount goes far so that’s another plus. I do notice that after applying this product my face appears to be greasy/oily. This does not seem to be an issue though as I apply right before bed. When I wake up in the morning, I simply wash my face with my Anew Vitale Gel Cleaner and i’m good to go! The Clearskin Overnight Blemish Clearing Overnight Treatment is regularly priced at $6.49.
